With lifelong involvement in motorcycling, Danny is well established in the industry as an expert in accident analysis, vehicle handling dynamics and tire development.
A former professional racer and development test rider, Danny served as manager of Goodyear/Dunlop’s tire testing for over two decades.
With extensive accredited investigation training and case history, he possess unique expertise in identifying, understanding and interpreting the nuances that can influence the outcome of a case. His experience and knowledge allow him to discern often overlooked factors that can contribute or mitigate the outcome of a case.
Starting as a motocross and road racer, I transitioned to a 22-year career with Goodyear / Dunlop Tires, ultimately becoming Senior Manager of Testing and Lead Development Test Rider for all motorcycle, ATV, and UTV products in North America. This role provided an opportunity to work alongside nearly all domestic and overseas motorcycle manufacturers, gaining a deep expertise in tire design, manufacturing, fitment and vehicle handling dynamics.

DRC was founded in 2018 offering specialized motorcycle, ATV and UTV accident investigation / reconstruction and testing
Motorcycle, UTV, and ATV accident investigations are inherently different from those involving cars or trucks. Beyond the physical size and unique handling dynamics of these vehicles, many other aspects must be considered. Factors such as vehicle-specific safety and performance features—including ABS or traction control—vehicle condition (tires, brakes, suspension), rider experience and training, and roadway or traffic conditions, among others, all contribute to the complex nature of motorcycle accident investigations. Danny represents Compass Kinetics, a San Diego, California-based firm specializing in motorcycle, ATV, and UTV accident reconstruction, as their motorcycle handling and dynamics expert.
The ability to properly recreate certain types of accidents can provide additional ‘on vehicle’ evidence in understanding contributing or mitigating factors of an accident. DRC’s active testing allows for this unique service. We source the exemplar vehicle in similar condition with matching equipment such as tires or aftermarket add ons. DRC’s access to closed course OEM test facilities allows for a safe controlled environment where videography and DA can often be implemented for additional support.
With over 25 years of development testing, DRC works with numerous Original Equipment Manufacturers regarding tire testing and fitment. DRC specializes in all aspects of OEM and replacement tire development – on road, off road, high speed stability, wet handling and durability – mileage accumulation.
We source the test vehicles, mechanical support and track access if required. Danny also has an extensive background working with Domestic, European and Japanese manufacturers in the field of Vehicle Handling and Dynamics. These evaluations encompass chassis development, suspension, ergonomics, accessory component integration, overall vehicle stability and safety.
